I should probably start off this post with the extreme amount of envy I feel over the winners of the cupcake bedazzled Snuggies at the Cupcake Conference Summer Social. I also want to put Paige from Where Women Create in my pocket for her creative genius. And yes, anything involving cupcakes, sparkles, and Snuggies is GENIUS!
It doesn’t surprise me that Where Women Create would sponsor such wonderful giveaways at Cupcake Conference. Have you actually checked out their website and magazine? I am the least creative person I know and even I feel inspired when I look through the gorgeous pages of the magazine. Not only that, the magazine itself is art. You can proudly display a copy on your coffee table and have your friends and neighbors ohh and ahh over how lovely the magazine is from cover to cover.
I think the most inspiring part of Where Woman Create is their passion towards highlighting woman in every aspect of their creativity. Whether they are business women or dancers Where Woman Create sees the amazing complexity of woman and shares that with their readers.
What sparks your creativity? I mean besides Cupcake bedazzled Snuggies.

I know you are all waiting for the announcement of the next Cupcake Conference. You want to visit with all your friends old and new. Nosh on some cuppycakes. And most of all have FUN. Well we are still working out the details of our next conference but while you are waiting, have you checked out Bloggy Boot Camp?
Bloggy Boot Camp is a fun, informative, and most importantly STRESS free conference (well maybe the organizers may feel differently but as an attendee it was no stress at all) held over 1 day. Yup, that’s right, only 1 day. And in addition to making it easier to find a babysitter, it also keeps the cost low (only $99). And the next best part… they are coming to UTAH! St. George to be exact. On November 13th. Which couldn’t be a more perfect time of year. Escape the cold and snow and head on down to St. George Bloggy Boot Camp for a little fun in the sun.
I am planning on making a whole weekend out of it with my family. The hubby and kids can relax by the pool and soak up the rays while I am soaking up the knowledge at Bloggy Boot Camp. Or if you need a quick weekend away. Grab a few of your bloggy BFF’s and carpool down. Just over 4 hours later you will be having the best girl getaway of the fall.
I hope to see you all there!

Now that you are all settled down from the amazing excitement that was Cupcake Conference it’s time to turn some of those fun pictures into long lasting memories. Thankfully we thought of that prior to the conference. Did you notice that amazing software package in your swag bags? Memory Mixer you ask? Yup thats the one.
Now it’s time to open up that box and put it to good use. Now if you are like me scrapbooking software can be a little daunting. But Memory Mixer is not scary at all. Even someone like me, the craft impared, can create adorable pages with just a few clicks of a button. I started out using their premade “quick mixes” (that is are still customizable) and have now branched out to making my own pages.
I made this in under 10 minutes. This is coming from the girl who has actually hot glued her hair before. I am NOT creative or crafty. Imagine what YOU could do with Memory Mixer and your creative flair. I can’t wait to see your creations.
Disclosure-Memory Mixer was a sponsor of Cupcake Conference. However, all thoughts, opinions, and general awesomesauceness of the above page are all mine.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for Utah’s first Cupcake Conference event than the Grand America Hotel. The Grand America rises above the rest as Salt Lake’s only Five Diamond hotel.
The Grand America Hotel offers 775 spacious luxury rooms and suites, most with mountain views and many with step-out balconies. Rooms and suites range from an exceptionally generous 700 square feet to over 2,000 luxurious square feet in the Presidential Suite…which is nearly like the gorgeous concierge lounge where our Cupcake Conference Summer Social takes place.
Each room is individually decorated with handcrafted Richelieu furniture, English wool carpets, Carrera Italian marble, and the finest fabrics. Suites feature elegant French doors separating the bedroom from the living area for additional privacy. Suites with kitchens feature full-size appliances.
Who doesn’t love to be pampered? First eat your cupcake then relax!
The Grand America Spa supplies much-deserved pampering with an array of rejuvenating treatments. 775 graciously appointed guest rooms and suites create an ideal retreat at the end of a long day spent in meetings or seeing some of the many Salt Lake City attractions.
It’s gorgeous, it grand and now it’s sweeter than ever.
The Grand America recently added a new addition: The Grand America Sweet Shop
The Grand America pastry chefs have been hard at work creating some wonderful treats for any occasion. You can visit this great new shop for a selection of mini cakes, cupcakes, truffles, cookies and more delectable treats.
Cupcake lovers attending our summer social will get to gnosh on a variety of cupcake flavors prepared specifically for the event. We’ll also get some one on one time with Executive Pastry Chef Fernanda Dutra, she’ll share where she gets inspiration in the kitchen and answer any baking questions you have.
Only 3 more days. Keep your eyes peeled on our site for more details, agenda, giveaway announcements and more sponsor info.

Cupcake Conference wants to thank all of our wonderful sponsors and give a shout out to our newest sponsors Zurchers and Pepsi.
Now if I could just figure out a way to put Pepsi in a Zurcher’s pinata without making a mess…
